Venomous African Viper Stolen!

Venomous African Viper
Venomous African Bush Viper!

GALVESTON, Texas - Police were investigating the disappearance of a venomous snake from an aquarium in Galveston, Texas, and said they believe the reptile has been stolen.

The 10-inch African bush viper was last seen Thursday evening at the Moody Gardens aquarium.

Officials said the fastener holding a padlock on the snake exhibit appeared to have been tampered with and damaged.

The snake's venom is not deadly to humans but could cause serious health problems.
Staffers have taken X-rays of three vipers to make sure they did not eat the missing snake.

The same snake went missing for two days last month. Workers found it hiding on a metal screen sealing the top of its enclosure, but cannot explain how the snake got up there.

Which leads us to think that someone is trying to murder their husband, every couple of months they drip some of the vipers venom into a nicely stirred martini, and after a few years they die, mysteriously.
And murderer gets all the cash, the house etc. Source Here

Another stolen dangerous animal news story:

Stolen big f*****g crocodile.

A Norwegian aquarium wants to quiz a thief - to find out why he or she stole a crocodile.

Big Crocodile
Big Sharp Toothed Crocodile!

Spike, was taken from the Bergen aquarium over the weekend, with officials believing he was smuggled out during the busiest hours, reports Reuters.

Kees Oscar Ekeli, the aquarium director, told the agency: "It has a solid bite."

Ekeli also fears that the four-year-old reptile has a poor chance of surviving, and believes it could die of stress if not returned to the aquarium.

In a fair deal, a reward of 25,000 kroner (£2,666) would be offered to anyone who provided information leading to the snappy recovery of the missing crocodile.

Last Chance for Animals, a US organisation that supports owners whose pets have been stolen, claims that almost two million pets are stolen each year and declared February 14th as Pet Theft Awareness Day.

We would like to ask the thief, “WTF,” it’s a crocodile, big snappy mouth full of big, sharp teeth and they do not like kissing.

The other question is “How do you smuggle a big ass crocodile out of an aquarium?” These days you can’t even take a bottle of water on to a plane as it “May Be Dangerous,” so how do you smuggle a crocodile, under your hat?
