What a Dumbass!
A stupid car thief was sentenced in Bristol, England today after being caught on a police camera.
Aaron Evans, 21, was charged with theft from a motor vehicle and sentenced to 28 weeks imprisonment.
Evans was arrested after being caught on camera after he broke in to a covert capture car parked in Bristol city centre car park and stole a satellite navigation system.
On this occasion, the camera got a clear view of Evans' neck which had his surname and date of birth tattooed on it.
The covert capture car is a 'honeypot' used by officers to catch car criminals in the act.
Officers bait the 'honeypot' with a host of tempting items for a car thief to steal such as satellite navigation systems, handbags, car stereos, mobile phones and piles of crack cocaine.
When the thief breaks in, a tiny camera films them, assisting the officers in the subsequent arrest.
In two years over 200 people have been arrested for offences connected to vehicle crime and handling stolen goods and a lot of stolen property has been recovered.
Another contender is Frank the Bank robber.
