Apple Lies, Again!

Television advert for the iPhone misled consumers, the Advertising Standards Authority has ruled.

Two complaints to the watchdog noted that the advert said "all the porn on the internet is on the iPhone".

But the ASA said because the iPhone has a capacity of 16 gigabytes, there is no way that it can store all of the pornography on the internet. The ASA estimate that the internet has about 300 thousand terabytes of porn on it.

"Because the iPhone doesn't have the space to save all the images and videos available from the interne, Apple just lied." said Olive McCampbell, a spokesperson for the ASA.

Apple was also banned from showing two other adverts, one of which claimed “NOW with new laser for making toast”.

The NEW iPhone Features a built in toaster.

The ASA said “This statement is just is not true.”

Apple spokesman, Ian Pod told NTS, “The iPhone is known to emit microwaves, lots of microwaves, so we thought it would be neat to put that to good use.”

When we asked Mr. I Pod, “Have you ever had bread from a microwave?” he said “No.”

The Advertising Standards Authority went on to tell us about the reason behind the third advertising ban, “The iPhone, does not dispense peanut butter!”

Steve Jobs, the Apple CEO told NTS, “It’s for the toast, and the next generation iPhone will have Jell-O.”
